The Spanish Network

In Spain, currently part of the international network of the project are "children's city" 48 institutions including cities, museums, associations and universities; in the science museums of Granada, Barcelona and Valencia, the Children's Councils of the Museum have been set up, a participation experience that is meeting new members (see Link).

Since 2016, the Spanish cities meet every year for two days in one of the Network cities (which takes care of the entire organisation) to exchange experiences and reflections on the Project.

The first meeting, which took place in Granada on 2 June 2016 at the Parque de las Ciencias , was followed by another three: one in Pontevedra (Galicia) in May 2017, one in Huesca (Aragon) in March 2018 and the last in Fuerteventura (Canary Islands) in February 2019.

Within the Spanish Network, local networks have been set up, such as that of some Municipalities of the Basque Country, called "Red Basque Ciudades con la Infancia”; and Municipalities of the Province of Pontevedra.
