The Autonomy of Children in Italy

The research project was dedicated to the study of the conditions of autonomy and of the factors that hinder it, in Italian children from the ages of six to eleven, both on their route from home to school and in their afternoon experiences. The study was carried out by means of a questionnaire on 1200 children and their parents in six Italian cities, two in the North, two in the Center and two in the South of the country.
