Rome-Leader City

In 2002, Rome subscribed to the project and took on the role of Leader City in the "City of Children" network. It opened the City Laboratory "Rome the City of Children" with the collaboration of the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies and collaborated with the National Council of Research towards the development and coordination of the international project. The Laboratory "Rome the City of Children" opened its first Children's Council of the City of Rome, made up of 42 elementary school councillors representing the 19 municipalities of the City. As a support to the international project, it collaborated by printing the Bulletin, organizing the annual city meetings and organizing the Documentation Center.
