The child in the adult's mind

The great emphasis that the project puts into the child's being a protagonist and his/her right to participate in decision making can absolutely not be utilized by adults as an alibi for their responsibilities. The project, by means of children's proposals and ideas, by means of the realization of their projects, aims at building a children's culture in the minds of adults and especially in the administrators so that they know how to make their decisions, having interiorized children's thoughts and needs. Only when adults will have understood that spending for the good of children is not a cost but an investment that will bring returns many times over, will it be possible to think seriously of the future of our cities.
