Training

There are no specializations of study that guarantee one's ability to promote the participation of children in city life. Giving children their say, listening to them and understanding them, defending their ideas and promoting their autonomy are not skills that are obtained by following particular courses of study. The National Council of Research group, in these years, has created materials and promoted training experiences for administrators and operators of the cities in the network and has participated in the initiative that, especially after the start up of the projects financed by law n° 285 of 1997, several institutions promoted. It is worthwhile remembering that in the last few years, The School of Sociology of the University of Urbino activated a post-graduate course of animators in the children's direct involvement planning.
