Direct Involvement Planning

Organization

In this case too, it is a good idea that the group be a small one, so that each child can participate in the various phases of the job. It could be a class group and in this case it will work during school hours as a curricular activity foreseen by the annual program. It could be an inter-class group, with participants from various classes, even of different ages, that operates with the same modalities as the previous group; finally it could be a mixed group, better if made up of children of different ages, to be formed outside the school and works in the Laboratory outside school hours.
The group will be coordinated by a teacher and by an expert coming from the specialization in which the project is intended to be carried out, for example an architect if we are dealing with operations on urban areas or environments, a botanist or a natural scientist if it concerns the restructuring of green areas.
It is important for the group to be able to work in a dedicated site, in which to keep and exhibit the materials produced in the various phases. The walls and desks in this site will conserve the collective memory of a job that cannot utilize the traditional tools of the scholastic memory such as notebooks, cards and reports.
